- Conduct regular inspections of gym facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and fitness equipment.
- Oversee pool maintenance as well as chemical balancing of the aquatic facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Collaborate with the management team to prioritize and address maintenance issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report to the Vice President of Operations regularly.
- Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Facility Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on fitness equipment.
- Experience in overseeing pool maintenance and chemical balancing in aquatics facilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple gym locations in Washington and Oregon State.
